Originally from Melbourne, Jake is an actor, singer and multi-instrumentalist. As a teenager, he starred in two seasons of the ABC3’s Logie-nominated skit show You’re Skitting Me, and was featured on Prank Patrol and in Tim Winton’s feature film, The Turning. After participating in Top Class for both VCE Drama (2013) and Theatre Studies (2014), Jake made his stage debut in StageArt’s production of The Full Monty, followed by the lead role in Lin Manuel Miranda’s 21 Chump Street (Pursued by Bear).
As a musician, Jake has performed at several prestigious Melbourne venues including the Worker’s Club and Open Studio. In 2016, Jake made his music festival debut at St Kilda Festival. The following year he was invited to sing for Stephen Sondheim as part of the Lobby Project at the New York City Centre. He also featured as a soloist in Sonder: A Charity Concert at the Alex Theatre and The Songs of Drew Gasparini in Concert at Chapel Off Chapel. Most recently, Jake featured in William Finn’s A New Brain (Popular Mechanics) as well as playing the role of Matt in Bare: The Musical (StageArt). He is thrilled to be bringing this childhood classic to life and wishes to thank his family and agents at IWM for their continued support.
