Madison migrated from the USA to Australia in 1994. He has most recently appeared on stage as the flamboyant Willie in the Australian Premiere of the Off-Broadway sensation The View UpStairs and the lovable fugitive slave Jim in Big River, both at Hayes Theatre Co. His other theatre credits include Miss Saigon, Sweet Charity and What the World Needs Now. He also played the Apollo MC in the Australian tour of Buddy: The Musical and Toad in the Australian Shakespeare Company’s production of The Wind in the Willows. Madison’s feature film credits include The Mystery of Natalie Wood directed by Peter Bogdanovich, South Pacific with Glenn Close, 2:22 and Radioland Murders written by George Lucas. He has also presented his self-produced cabaret Yank Down Under. In between acting gigs, Madison teaches English to speakers of other languages, directs his community based singing group The 8-Week Choir and also performs original music from his albums 10th Child and Deep Within.
