Charlie Bucket

Being cast as Charlie Bucket is a dream come true for 11 year old Tommy. At a very young age he showed he had a very creative mind and would get lost in books and movies. Tommy asked for Roald Dahl books which he collected over a number of years, his favourite being Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Tommy began his musical theatre performing in 2015 at the age of eight in Engadine Musical Society’s My Son Pinocchio as The Perfect Child. Since then Tommy has had a love for musical theatre, and has enjoyed a number of roles over the past three years including Michael Banks in Mary Poppins, Young Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and the storyteller in Shrek Jr. Tommy is in Year 5 at St John Bosco Primary School in Engadine, and enjoys playing the piano, lego, singing and playing soccer. Tommy is looking forward to performing in this very special musical and hopes that everyone has as much fun watching as he will be performing.
